Digital Door Prize Raffle Draw

The Door Prize module lets you run digital lucky draws during your event. It randomly picks winners exclusively from the pool of guests who have checked in (arrived at the venue).

Setting Up the Door Prize Draw

1. Configure presenter display background, reel spin speeds, and winner exclusions under Settings -> Event Settings (select the Screen tab, then Doorprize Screen sub-tab).
2. Navigate to Operations -> Door Prize in the admin dashboard.
3. Create a new prize category (e.g., "Grand Prize - Smart TV" or "Gift Voucher").
4. Set the quantity of winners to draw for that category.

Configuring Draw Rules

To keep the draw fair and accurate, the system enforces the following eligibility rules:

• Present Guests Only: Only guests who have been scanned/checked in at the gates are entered into the draw pool. Guests who RSVP'd but didn't show up are excluded.
• Single Winner Rule: A guest who wins a prize is automatically excluded from subsequent draws, preventing duplicate winners.
• Category Exclusions: You can exclude certain categories (like "Staff", "Organizers", or "Vendors") from winning.

Running the Shuffle

1. Open the Door Prize Shuffle View on the main stage screen or TV.
2. Select the active prize category and click "Shuffle Names".
3. A fast, interactive spinning wheel animation will shuffle the names of eligible guests.
4. Click Stop or wait for the auto-stop. The winner's name, phone number, and table number will flash on the screen.
5. Click Confirm Winner to save the result.
